The review about carried had something really nice. That is the fact that she writes a little bit about specific scenes. And I actually have very mix feelings about this. Because at first I really liked the Idea, but then at the end I felt the Author of the review was just giving me a huge spoiler of the movie, if it is a good or a bad movie I don’t necessarily want to know everything that happen before hand, in case is a good movie I want to be able to watch it myself and not say “ah you know what, I already read a review that told me everything about it”. In the other hand we can certainly give her as a pros that it is a remake movie, if you already saw the first one (that in case of carries everyone should have) you already know what is going to happen, but once again if you tell me as in the case every little difference from the original one and this one there is no point for me to watch it because I already know what’s going on. So I think this is an amazing strategy but we have to take it a little easy on it if we are using it.

12 years of Slave

In the case of this review I also felt that they were using the same technique as in the “Carrie” one, with the same exact flaw but in a very less matter. I have the feeling that they are just spoiling me most of the movie and that I’m not necessarily excited about going to see the movie. Something nice and different in the one it is the fact that  writes a bit more about specifics traits that are shown in terms of the acting skills of specifics characters and that is really nice, also the fact that they speak in general about the usage of language. And I can’t forget that the final, general wrap up it is in my perspective the best way to concluded a review.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2

Even when this one it is a bad review (which I preferred not to read, I guess because I’m positive most of the time) I really liked it. And I’m pretty sure that it is because it used the same resources that provide me the last one reviews but don’t over use it. For example after telling me the plots tell me about some problems but never mention the problems, which is a nice thing because I want to know them while I see the movie, if I ever see it, not now because the writer of the review it is too excited about it!

I haven't watched any of the movies in the review but I read them all. And I agree with you on the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. You have nice grammar but sometimes you have to be careful with the verb tenses, other than that you are fine.
