Maybe I choose this movie to feature as a bad movie because I'm a horror movie fan. And It happened that we plan out a movie night sleep over with my bff, my Italian friend (the one in the previous post) and another really good Spanish friend (Maria). At the end we got the munchies, the room ready, the girls ready, that DVD system ready, and no movie. To save the day, I bring out, this crazy 8-pack of horror movie. Which I bought because it was like 8 movies for 4 bucks in Walgreens. 

I was lucky I was in good company because if not , none of this night would had  been cool. The movie lighting was horrible. The direction was OK but the acting from the toys was even better than the one from the people. Even when it is not on my native tongue I could feel that script it is not realistic and force. And the best thing about this movie that it doesn't scare at all!! I'm pretty sure that the only one that had ever got scare with it had being my friend Maria. Which was something nice about the moment because we could not feel scare but  we could make fun of her while she was like dying of how afraid she was

Of course I can still taste it! Ever wonder why is the word cappuccino in Italian? I never did, but I discover why when I had this beauty. I waiting on  layover to go to Milan in a  shopping in Bergamo when I walk into a place that says cappuccino 1 euro and because it was cheap I had it.

This amazing presentation (yeah that picture is the actual one) was nothing compare to the explosion of flavors that when through my mouth while having it. When I tell this story I always say it was just a culinary orgasm. It was thick (a lot for being a coffee, and you know that white thing (that is actually milk )  on top of the coffee that we always get and we always love, it had a lot of that shit (like one inch or so) but it wasn't only a lot it was also damn tasty. An after the initial sips the experience wasn't over. I open that very good and very small cookie that they always give you in Italy to have with your coffee,  that you think because it is so tiny it is not relevant, but if they don't give it you you, you'll fight about it! the cookie was hard, very hard but as my roommate with a bit of coffee was very easy to deal with. I guess I don't have to say it was so hot, in more than one way and as good orgasm it quite took me by surprise. I miss you Italian cappuccino!

Blonde, tall,   sexy and yeah... Italian. When I met her when she was an exchange student in PR. Now her hair is Long, and as always sleek it looks like brownish with highlights, but they are all naturals, even though she occasionally she uses Medalla to emphasize them (while taking sun in the beach) . She have a killer body that depends on where is it, for how it looks. While in a tropical island she'll be white,  but cutely tan with some freckles barely visible every now and them. Long beauty full legs , nice ass and pretty decent tits with a  normal waist size. If you put her on the continent that she was born;  her sizes (every size ) should drop down like a couple of numbers at least.

Yes, that means also no boobs (compare to the ones in PR) and pretty much an average model buddy. I mean probably size one or zero that accentuates her nice bone structure and the amazing clothes that as an Italian she is obligated to wear. But moving on from her genetic predisposition to dress up nicely as people in her country tend to do,  she have seductive green eyes which she accentuate by always putting liner on them and some barely visible make up. She have a soft and friendliness smile and as a fact the first thing I say when they introduce her to me it was "Your pretty" .

In terms of the debate. Why not? It is what I though about looking (Again) for  pros and cons. I think this is exploiting once again in Puerto Rico because people are having the guts to speak about this. I mean think about it, don't you think a marihuanero would think  he need to fight for his right when even gays do? I think it is at the end more of a moral issue than anything. And we are behind in this issue as in so many other things; why? Well I guess a moralist can answer you that better than me. I believe it should be legal long time ago. And how? Through education.

You make it legal with a nice educational campaign that explains "the cons" for each individual, at the end ill be the choice of each one to use it or not, as it actually is in the UPR , because c'mon! it is not hard to find it, if it was I think I would probably wont have half of my friends consuming it. And by the way a lot of my friends just consume it like 2 a year when they are stressful, so they are a good example that is not actually addictive.

We have a party and some influential (Somehow) people behind this measure. We as a country shouldn't ignore it and think how many criminality problems this would solve. People get it! legal or illegal! Let's stop getting people in jail for this no sense persecution and  promote a non-addictive use of it. Imagen how many less criminality we would have every year for this? You think more people would use it? , I personally don't think that much more. I think It would do more good than bad to legalize this s#$% finally!

I think unlucky for us this issue (As gay rights) would still be on the closet until our society start thinking a little bit more out side of the box, stop being so hypocrite and look at things in a 3rd person perspective without thinking they always have to do with their own values. 

This week I have choose the post that I made about the movie about my life, to get feedbacks on. I want you to pay special attention to structure (organization of ideas) , vocabulary (in terms of a constant of tone) and the quality of the context (a side from the picture).

One of the most appreciated feedback that I got so far it is that I write way too much in each post.  So from now on I’ll try to keep it short, without affecting content. So ill keep it brief but still interesting! Ok

To finish with the artist featuring series It was very Hard to choose…  So I’ll make half post of each one of my top 2 finalist. And the least main stream of my favorite artist are La oreja de Van Gohg and La quinta Estacion.

La quinta estacion are now in a pause as a band so ill start with them. Their songs are just live changing and it is because it is where essentially their music comes from. If you got the opportunity to check out the information in the interviews from their live dvds they always tell you a bit  of their story and a good summarize it is that they are a Spanish  group that go signed to  produce to Albums in Mexico.
                  

They relocated themself, but things after the first album where not good at all. They really struggle to the point that they said they were a lot of days that they spoke to their parents in Spain and they were like “Yes mom and dad everything is great over here and we are having an awesome time”  and they actually  only have to eat some chocolate mix  (the one that you mix up with milk) and water to mix it up with, and had to pass the day with that. When the time came to record their second Album they were sure it was going to be the last one because of the success of the first one (very little, to not say none) . So they did whatever they fuck they wanted with it. They basically start mixing their Spanish music heritage with the one that they have recently acquired in Mexico (mariachis and so on) with pop music. And to top it up they talk about what they were passing by, and there is how you got lyrics as :

I remember start being independent  from my parents and have tough moments and being able to relate to them not only for their songs , but also being motive by their  them as an example of overcoming obstacles and keep moving forward.

And not really to end up with the list one my all time favorite Spanish rock band La Oreja de Van Gohg. They have been around since I remember, but we got to recall, that I was born in the 90’s. The thing with LODVG it is that they have been able to do something that I though it wasn’t possible. They let their lead singer go solo and look for another one. While completely keeping their style and of course, us their fans. Seriously sometimes I even like more the new singer.
They record an album that a lot of the people don’t know about that it is call “Nuestra casa a la izquierda del tiempo” which is a compilation of all their hits before the new singer, but with her and new rhythms with the company of the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra . That wasn’t so good as the originals songs but shows people they still got it with this new singers, and after that It had been just like a relationship that re-start again honey moon with their fans I just love the new singles and I’m looking forward to keep enjoying their music.

Oh! One more thing they have a song that you can’t miss.  It is call Jueves and it is a song dedicated to the victims of the terrorist attract in Madrid a few years ago.  Some other singles that you may love and not reconize from them are Rosas, Inmortal and Cometas porel cielo.

So that being the first song, but let’s say that is the intro song for the soundtrack of my life.

As a kid I remember at the age of 5 or 6 watching mexican  telenovelas (as all the women) do in Puerto Rico, well I did it with my mom all the time and I us to learn those songs still without much prejudice  that they where songs that a man shouldn’t be singing but then I found novelas for kids.

So my first song is dedicated to those novelas and it is obviously a song that I use to sing as a lot when I was around 12 it wasn’t the most popular song that they have but I really like it. It is call  “Esas pequenas cosas” and was the 6th song of the Silvana Album from Complices al Rescate.

As a kid later on I became a really good fan of movies my two favorite genders of all type had been romantic comedies (chickflicks), horror movies and regular comedies. I remember the first adult chick flicks that I’m able to recall seeing was Cruel Intentions; which is still one of my favorites movies. And one of the best if not the best scene of the movie which gives fans like me a lot of pleasure it is the final scene when you see how everything end up and in that movie the song that is play in that scene have to be in this this soundtrack as a tribute to my chick flick taste as the two following ones. So this one is “Bitter Sweet Symphony by the Verve.

Another tribute to my taste for comedy movies would be for regular comedies a song that define the movie Uptown Girls which I also happen to  love of course. And this one I don’t  know if it is a song out side of the movie or it became famous out side of the movie as the last one did, so this one it is call Sheets of Egyptian cotton by Carlos Melendez, and it is such a fun song that I bet a lot of people don’t notice when they see the movie but it is so important  to really got the best of the movie. And to end up  the mini tribute to my movie taste I just have to include the freakiest movie song ever in a movie , which is an Australian horror movie, that  actually made this song famous  this one is” Not pretty enough

To  sumirize my middle school I need to include a Britney spears song (of those days) cuz I use to dance in a group and we did a couple of times Britney spears Impersonation so  britneys 2 cents would be “ Me against the music because I think it show case my hidden passion for music and dance.

As you know I need to add Green Day also in here because of obvious season but to summarize the last post in a phrase, in middle school specially and still a bit, they defind most of my fashion trend , so the song that I’m choosing from them,  is one of my favorite but is a very peculiar song to choose from them because is not one that shows their music style. Is not a punk song it is from green day but it is a very slow acustic song. The one that they sing at the end of the concert to make everybody calm down and just go back home to relax after so much jumping and high energy singing. But I think everyone no matter their taste of music can get to love this song and it had been part of diferent parts of my life also because it always help me out to keep goin on in some way . The in high school I was kind of emo sometime, and for you not to forget this is a soundtrackt of my life ill add  Welcome to my life from.

In high school I was Puerto Rico`s National Teakwondo Champion in the  Ligth Heavy Junior division. There is a very cliché group that came out form a teenager telenovela that have a song that best describe how I felt when I move from home to college and got independent. I remember singing this song in my mind entering in the UPR for second time on the way to my doorms. This on is Tras de mi from RBD

There was a time that I use to be a partyboy. By the that there was an awesome song that it is still in my mind that it is Party Rock Athem from LMFAO

In college I came out of the closet and became fan of dragqueens (after being afraid of them) and I cannot forget the song that it is iconic of this event in my life Cover Girl by Ru paul.

There was a time that I was really struggling in college in the middle of my  studies and after some professional help I use to wake up and shower with music. The point of the music was that it wakes me up while waking up an d while showering so I start my date in a mood that let me go through it. So at first I did not listen to the lyrics I just wanted a very energetic song that happen to be (the main one)  S & M from Rhianna but my favorite one was the live version featuring Brit. Wen I actually start listening the lyrics form the songs then my theme song became Waka waka from Shakira, but the English version which is longer and richer.

And last song is not Last dance… the last is a song that really speak for me and to my when ever I listen to it I love it and I can get over it . I like it to the point that im  going to get a tattoo for it and it is the song of my life and the main song of this post ans sound track. This one is TITANIUM from GETHA.. I don’t think I need to explain this one.

If you havent guess who this post is about by the picture and the quote and you live in this side of the world, you havent really live! They are Green day a Bnad that I discovered a little later than Britney and that in pop culture it is actually a litle less know. They had been a Band since I remember but I discover them exactlly when I was in middle school  when my best friend Bryan (that is now a very nice photographer)  introduce me to a couple of bands. I dont know if he had they originally cd but I know that I burn a lot of CDs from rock band. At then end the only one that I liek was Green day and not only like but love. Since them Green day Have become one of those artist that I buy cds from... I dont remember when I had my last cd player and since a lot of time ago I dont own my self any type of device that I can play them at and I still keep buying every single album that they put out because I just know it is going to be sickening no matter what and that I should have it...

When I discovered green day it change my life bcause as britney they where a bit of an influence constructing my personality, I was diferent and so was my friend but in my case greenday kinda gave me the tools (some really cool ones) to showcase that diferences in My personality so all of the sudden I start using converse in my conservative scool! yes converse and It was the 20's where everyone did not use converse where cacos see them not as there new bling bling but as the shows that the rockeros use and that they represented evil, Next I start using a belt with spikes and next thing you know I was quite a cool kid going on to higschool.

Other than defining my own style they have obviosly won some grammys. over 75M copies and Even been nominated to a couple of Emmys. If there is something that I have to admmit is that like any other artist there consistency is not the best they have like every other 2 albums an amazing album When I start listening to them I was one of the fans that they gain in there 2nf shot where they where on everybodies mouths. By that time and as they have always done  their lirycs where and are very very political. The interesting thing about  them is that they are not as direct as I dont know Pink let say sometimes but other times they are but because they are having so much fun with the lirycs. What this does is that I was able to like them as a teenager.  I   mean who wont like a song that start sayin "Dont wanna be an American Idiot" (when your 14). As a grown up I like them not for wich words they use but fo wiich message they  put across, that It is pretty much a huge  critisism.

When they beame famous it was a controversy between rock fans because they where obviosly sing up by a mayor Label and it generate the disscusion of if they where or not punk. Because if your selling millions of copies and have everything you need to be main stream how can you call you self punk!? that it is trying to portrait the opposite.

Going back to the Emmys thing, very relevant from Green day is that  they where a bit bored once, so they just made a musical with their song of one of their most controversial and popular albums (American Idiot) that scale up to broadway!. There shows are very fun my favorite live concert is  Bullet in  bible that was the one that they produce exaxtly after the American Idiot album. As I said before it was the 2nd time that the where a hit again so it also show case a bit more in that live album of the history of their band how they do music and such stuff that when you really like a band you like to heard over and over again.

This is not an amazing study ad the source where I'm taking this from but I hope it works. My main goal with this post it is to promote the understanding of this creatures that you can only find here and that have to be treat it in a special way because so are them.

So first of all before before the brief of them by faculties I would go for the general characteristics 
They are currently what rules the University. With such a diversity that our university provides there is in this recent years a huge increase of girls getting into the upr, last time I heard something about ti it was something about 7 girls vs 3 boys for each 10 student that enroll in the university. I'm preparing mentally for one day listening the news... they would say " You let us write, you let us vote, you let us have the same education and jobs as you have now we are more in here than you guys and we are taking it back for the years that we loose, so guys out of the UPR! They'll be like "Ciao" , and we won't be able to even understand that because we cant even get to learn Italian in Humanidades.

I guess by now you can guess who this entry is about. So for this last week in my class I was ask to do what I  like to call "Featuring of 3 music artist that are my favorites."But I decide that I’m not doing it all together. Reality it is that outside of the class, that I’m doing this blog for,  this is for me the real new beginning of my writing career . So I Already got some real viewers from the world  (again,  outside of ingl 3232 ) So for their benefit I would do the  “featuring” in between the other jobs so you can get a rest about music from post to post.

So, to start with I decide to choose " the one and only Pop Princess Miss Britney Spears" . And to  start with I  want to  start with the answer of the question why Britney and why Britney first?  Normally I would always answer this by saying why not Britney? But not this time I need to say:  Are am I really asking this question in first place!? And you as a reader  no matter how repulsive you may find pop music and culture  you just can’t say to me that you haven’t say the phrase that is on the title of this post or that you haven’t sing a choir of a Britney song in your life. Because It just can’t be possible if you’re a fan of that girl that was innocent and start rock to the stardom with opss I Did It Again and Baby One More Time, or in your mind is more presence the sexy girl that was dancing in the vma's with a boa half naked and being all provocative, or you where a paparazzi Britney fan of those who fallow her in the get ins and get outs of her custody of her child, bold hair , alcohol problems and so on, or your a recent fan that likes the more mature brit that is a well rounded woman with the same spice as always, either way some how brit had been part of our lives before.  And Britney is first on the list because I’m going from my more main stream to the least.

So she the one and only is one of my favorite artist because she is “Fab”. They are things in life that change your life and as As a teenager help you to define yourself and as some of the other artist that I’m going to talk about later on AS  Brit (as I   like to call her, since we are close friends) it is one of those things in my life. And if you know me personally I know what you’re thinking of.. Britney wasn't a teenager when I was a teenager.. no she was not so  what  my experience that got in to my life  of her career was since she was a little bit more slutty or a salve as you wish to say :D

Britney have won pretty much everything that a realized singer could win in this days, even when some people criticize  her for “not singing” because she is a performer that puts a lot of effort in her shows. She have in her bag, house or beach house everything; from moon mans  , to Grammys, to Academy awards . (Just kidding, brit! Your fans are waiting for you to get real on your acting skills!”)  But to be honest I’m sure for the interviews and the research that I have done about her that her most important thing for her is her fans as she once says  "Seriously I got the most incredible fans of the world" 

Her career and position on chart it is so long that I'm not even going to get on started on that,    I encourage you to look up a bit about that yourself and give you just a little fact that for me can either summarize her success money wise or make you do your on research about her, on 2012 she was the musicians with the biggest income without going on tour or realizing an album for that year. Of course as you can also find on the web that put “her ahead of top singers like  Rihana, Taylor swift and even Gaga” Yes I say it Britney is in front of gaga, she is even what gaga listen when she plays music on her Ipod! (Wasn’t me! She say it once :D )

Britney’s music is excellent other than from going up (and not necessarily into a sluthy cute  sexy   girl) for going out  with the girls, to work out to even reflects a bit, down you there telling me that you don’t have a man in your life that you can  say this man it is a “Womanizer”!

A bit more close and personal about Britney I like how she overcome the stress of her personal life and came back (fat for the first album) but eventually put it up all together to keep up with their career as if nothing would have happen. There is also something very increible that you le you see exactlly what Im trying to explain and it is a documentary she produce of her life and giving some explanations about her actions when she was not being such a good role model. And it show case the mature brit that we know now going to a face where she was looking back to walk foward , the name of this is Britney Spears: For The Record.  The cool thing about is that I feel that her fans stay here as I did supporting her while the paparazzis where making her their daily bread. 

I did went to her last concert in PR and even though I was waiting for the type of show that she gives in the Miami arenas for example, that it is something way over the top (if not that is a most see Britney spears live on Las Vegas  before you die!)  I was pleased with the show and  my only regrets are not seeing her even before and not buying a ticket in front of the stage.
